Privacy policy
Last updated 16 September 2026
This policy covers the Oddzy website, the Telegram bot and the Market Finder browser extension. It says what we collect, why, and what we do not do with it.
What the website collects
Pages are served without an account. We record anonymous usage — pages viewed, and a random visitor id kept in your browser so a visit can be told apart from the next one — and, where you arrived from one of our shared links, the code in that link. We do not buy or receive personal profiles about you from anyone.
What the Telegram bot and wallet collect
If you trade, we store your Telegram account id and username, the self-custodial wallet address created for you, and a record of your deposits, orders, positions and withdrawals. We need these to show your balance, execute what you ask for and settle it. Your wallet keys are generated through Privy and stay yours: we never hold your funds and cannot move them without an order you approve.
What the Market Finder extension sends
When you press Scan or Find markets, the extension sends up to 4,000 characters of the article's text to our API so it can find related markets and send them back. That is the only thing it sends. Finding the topics on a page happens inside your browser; nothing leaves it until you ask. Your scan history, settings and never-scan list are stored in your browser and never reach us. The extension reads a page only when you open it and ask, unless you switch on auto-scan, which asks for your permission first and can be limited to individual sites.
Article text and the model
To match markets, the article text you send is passed to a language model provider that returns keywords and a ranking. It is used for that request, cached briefly so the same article is not re-processed, and not used to train anything or build a profile of you.
How long we keep things
Trading records are kept for as long as your account exists, because they are the record of your own money. Anonymous usage data is kept in aggregate. Article text sent by the extension is kept only in a short-lived cache measured in minutes.
Who we share with
We do not sell your data and we do not share it for advertising. We pass on only what a service needs to do its job: Polymarket and the Polygon blockchain to place and settle your orders, Privy for wallet creation and signing, our hosting and analytics providers, and the language model provider described above. Anything written to a public blockchain is public by nature.
Your choices
You can clear the extension's history from its History tab, remove any site permission you granted it from Chrome, and uninstall it at any time. You can export your wallet key or revoke signing permission in the bot. To ask what we hold about you, or to have it deleted, message us — deleting trading records ends the account they belong to.
Children
Trading prediction markets is for adults. The bot and the website are not intended for anyone under 18.
Changes
If this policy changes in a way that matters, we will update the date at the top of this page.
